[winswitch] MAC client is having problems with Applications

I'm using a MAC client and Ubuntu server.
Applications don't start at all, but Desktops do.

This was true a couple of days ago before the recent Xpra release.
It's still true after the Ubuntu Xpra upgrade.  (MAC dmg hasn't changed yet.)


MAC client says:  0.12.8
(svn revision 4676 with 0 local changes)

I suppose I could go look at the SVN tree, but it would be nice
if the MAC UI and the download server identified exactly what
release.  (0.12.8.1 ?)  I've downloaded new DMGs only to find
out their the same as my current.
