Hi,

This update to the v4.x branch fixes a large number of issues, including 
one that caused complete server crashes:

This use-after-free bug affected all previous versions of xpra but only 
recently started triggering server crashes with an update to the memory 
allocator in GLib.

There are a number of minor packaging fixes for various platforms and we 
now also have arm64 builds for MacOS.
The most important encoding fix may finally resolve the lossy screen 
updates that had been reported with some text applications.
Everything else is all fairly minor and although this fixes many 
correctness issues, it should not have affected many users.

The GPG key used for signing the packages for some distributions had 
expired on 2023-05-05 and changing the expiry date on this key seems to 
have caused more problems than expected.
You will need the updated key to continue to use the repositories.

Hello, 

I want to use xpra to serve an application from a server to some clients, but everyone has to see a newly started up version of the application. The application is a special calculator for material properties, and to prevent updates on every single system, using Xpra to show the application in a browser can be a perfect solution. 
However, if I try to login with a second browser, the first login exits... I need multiple instances, if possible spawned right after connecting. 

Are there some settings/configuration I can do the realize this?
