I do not have a recipe to reproduce it but have some observations. When it happen the cpus on the server are higly in used. It is also seem to happen when i attach with opengl=true. When this happen all the application a still running but i do not see how i can reconnect to the orphan application or move it to a others display. Any suggestions? What is the error message? Where did you get your SSL certificate from? What does your proxy server log show? As per the manual page entry for "start=", which all other start command refer to: "This option may be given multiple times to start multiple commands." Trying it yourself should be just as quick as firing this email.
