That's odd, I've just tested again here and it works OK (x86 and ppc).
What do you mean by "garbage"? From your previous emails I thought that
the only mapping that did not work was with the Xpra client on OSX where
the meta key did not fire? Has this changed and got worse?
This is the one that works for me on Intel Macs (md5):
30d4641a367849858a4f0495d257357a Window-Switch.dmg
And for PowerPC Macs (md5):
8db89ea4bad31bdb652718ad91c969d6 Window-Switch.dmg

BTW, a server upgrade should not be necessary for this Xpra fix.
Unless you were testing the NX protocol with winswitch and not Xpra? In
which case you *do* need the server upgrade for the NX+OSX keyboard
mapping fix. (FYI: this is the xpra mailing list and not winswitch's...)
Below are questions only related to winswitch and not Xpra. Xpra users
may ignore the content below here.

Ooops, sorry about that. Fixed.
(I had consolidated all the domains onto one to please Google search,
and the http redirect mistakenly applied to the repository - which is
not supported by apt).

Done in svn (it will be in the next version):
http://winswitch.org/trac/changeset/3343

I'll have to look into what Ubuntu does with those custom shortcuts.
winswitch only parses:
/usr/share/desktop-directories/
and
/usr/local/share/desktop-directories/
I guess it must go somewhere in your home directory? (will do)
Cheers
