The error about polaris vanished but the issue with the long wait time
still exists.

I also removed xpra completely and reinstalled it but it did not help.

Please note: the setup works as expected when I use the internal intel
gpu. It also worked with an older nvidia card. Only the new amd card
does not work. It is the first one to use the new amdgpu driver, that
will be used by all new amd cards. So this might turn out to be an
bigger issue in the future.

If you believe it might solve the issue I can also reinstall the
complete system but I would like to avoid that unless necessary.
